The Pittsford S’Women traveled to New Hartford on Saturday, September 22 where they won the New Hartford Invitational, totaling 695 with the next closet competitor, Valley Central, earning 298. Jenny Lewis broke the pool and meet record in the 100 yard backstroke winning in a time of 57.95. She also won the 100 yard freestyle.The 200 yard medley relay team of Lewis, Jessie Ward, Aly Criscuolo and Kelley Groves began the meet with a win. Lindsay Wahl, Stephanie Ross, Meghan Green and Emma Miller were in 2nd. Olivia Tylutki, Claire Geiser, Rachel House and Lindsay Matthews finished 6th, Kelsey McManus, Danielle Phillips, Katherine Ross and Grace Encherman were 9th and Maddy Ashworth, Mallory Ward, Katie Hart and Maggie Craig were 11th.Wahl won the 200 yard freestyle with Alex Trobe 2nd, Miller 3rd, Katie Dobler 5th, Kelly Geary 6th, Tylutki 7th and Ashworth 11th. Sarah Dempsey won the 200 yard individual medley with teammates Green 3rd, House 5th, McManus 7th, Criscuolo 8th, Phillips 10th and Geiser 11th. In the 50 yard freestyle, Groves was the top Pittsford finisher in 3rd place with Matthews 7th, Jessie Ward 10th and Karin Lee 12th. Morgan Neal, Katelyn Barclay, Rachel Delahunta and Carrie DeMoulin dove to a 6-8-10-14 performance.Dempsey finished 2nd in the 100 yard butterfly. Criscuolo was 4th, Jennifer Conklin 6th, House 7th and McManus 4th. Lewis won the 100 yard freestyle with Groves in 3rd, Matthews in 5th. Lee in 6th and Encherman in 9th. The S’Women dominated the 500 yard freestyle taking the top 4 spots. Miller, Trobe, Green, Conklin and Geary finished 1-2-3-4-6 in the distance event.Geary, Dobler,Conklin and Trobe finished 3rd in the 200 yard freestyle relay. The team of Green, Matthews, Dempsey and Miller were in 4th. Jessie Ward, Geiser, Stephanie Ross and Lee were in 6th, Emily DiPaulo, Craid, Ashworth and Encherman touched in 7th and Lydia Hunt, Erin Connolly, Mallory Ward and Emily Carroll finished 11th. In the 100 yard backstroke, Pittsford again claimed the top spots with Lewis, Wahl, Tylutki and Dobler touching 1-2-3-5. They also dominated the 100 yard breaststroke with Jessie Ward , Stephanie Ross, Ellis and Phillips taking the top 4 spots. Geiser, Mallory Ward and Katherine Ross finished in 8th, 9th and 11th places.The 400 yard freestyle relay team of Wahl, Dempsey, Groves and Lewis finished 1st with the teams of Geary, Dobler, Conklin and Trobe in 2nd, Tylutki, House, Lee and McManu s in 3rd, DiPauol, Hart, Katherine Ross and Phillips in 10th and Hunt, Theresa Ciaccio, Carroll and Kaelen Fennell in 12th.Earlier in the week, the Varsity S’Women defeated Rush-Henrietta, 99-74 sweeping the top 3 spots in 4 of the individual events. The Junior Varsity S’Women won 104-54.The S’Women, coached by Marty Keating, Beth Dobberstein, Laura Price and Mark McMann ,will turn their attention to two important dual meets against Webster Schroeder and Fairport this coming week.
