The Pittsford Varsity S’Women started their season with a splash,  defeating Irondequoit 113-67 in their first dual meet of the season. Tri-Captain Lindsay Wahl  was a double winner, winning the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard butterfly, and Meghan Green followed suit in the 200 yard freestyle and 100 yard backstroke.
The S’Women opened the meet in their usual fashion, sweeping the 200 yard medley relay. The team of Jenny Lewis, Tri-Captain Jessie Ward, Green and Kelley Groves finished first with Wahl, Stephanie Ross, Aly Criscuolo and Emma Miller in 2nd and Olivia Tylutki, Tri-Captain Claire Geiser, Sarah Dempsey and Lindsay Matthews in 3rd. Kelly Geary finished 2nd behind Green in the 200 yard freestyle with Tylutki in 4th. Lewis, Jennifer Conklin and Katie Dobler swept the 200 yard individual medley. In the 50 yard freestyle Miller and Rachel House finished 2nd and 4th behind Wahl.
Morgan Neal, Katelyn Barclay and Rachel Delahunta swept the diving. Wahl, Lewis and Groves did the same in the 100 yard freestyle. Miller, Matthews and Geary swept the 100 yard freestyle and Dempsey, Dobler and House swam to a 1-2-3 finish in the 500 yard freestyle. The remainder of the meet was swum as exhibition except for Green’s win in the 100 yard backstroke and Ross’ win in the 100 yard breaststroke.
The Junior Varsity S’Women extended their multi-season undefeated streak with a 95-39 victory. They too opened the meet with a sweep of the 200 yard medley relay. Kelsey McManus,  Danielle Phillips, Jamie Tyler and Grace Encherman  won . Katie Hart, Mallory Ward, Katherine Ross and Theresa Ciaccio were 2nd and Helaina Hummel, Deniz Harland, Bonita Sur and Erin Connolly were 3rd. Maddy Ashworth, Emily DiPaulo and Julie Marello swept the 200 yard freestyle. McManus, Phillips and Ross did the same in the 200 yard individual medley. Maggie Craig won the 50 yard freestyle with Hart and Ciaccio in 2nd and 4th places.
Alana Biltucci and Carrie DeMoulin took the top two places in diving. Vicky Lagas, Emily Himes and Jenna Mattina swam to a 2-3-4 finish in the 50 yard butterfly. Encherman, Connolly, and Lydia Hunt swept the 100 yard freestyle. Tyler, McMAnus and Catherine Tuttle did the same in the 500 yard freestyle. With the score 95-15, the S’Women swam the remainder of the meet as exhibition.
The S’Women now turn their attention to a dual meet against Greece Athena/Odyssey and a trip to Owego for the Owego Invitational.
