The Pittsford S’Women opened their season with a 99-73 victory over Hilton. The varsity swimmers and divers extended their unbeaten streak to 44 with this win. Hailey Weniger was a double winner for Pittsford with victories in the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard butterfly.
The 200 yard medley relay team of Jenny Lewis, Jessie Ward, Emily Wells and Kelley Groves started things off with a stunning victory. Olivia Tylutki, Stephanie Ross, Aly Criscuolo and Meghan Green finished in second. In the 200 yard freestyle, Jenna Arington, Emma Miller and Tylutki finished in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Lewis won the 200 yard individual medley just touching out teammate Lindsay Wahl by 0.04 seconds. Weniger, Alex Trobe and and Ward swept the 50 yard freestyle.
Eliza Massie, Morgan Neil, and Hilary Dubeshter also swept the diving. Weniger, Lewis and Green finished 1-2-3 in the 100 yard butterfly. Miller won the 500 yard freestyle with Wells in 2nd and Geiser in 4th. Pittsford swam the remainder of the meet as exhibition.
The JV S’Women also started their season with a bang, defeating Hilton 101-67. They opened the meet with a sweep of the 200 yard medley relay. The team of Katie Dobler, Katherine Ross, Jennifer Conklin and Sarah Dempsey finished first setting a new JV record with Kelly Geary, Sophia Salvia, Elise Morris and Brittany O’Connor in 2nd, and Katie Yan, Bonita Sur, Mandy Ellis and Grace Encheman in 3rd.  Karin Lee, Emily DiPaolo and Kelsey McManus swept the 200 yard freestyle. Lindsay Matthews, Conklin, and K. Ross swept the 200 yard individual medley. O’Connor, won the 50 yard freestyle with Maggie Craig in 2nd and Katie Burch in 4th.
Katelyn Barclay won the diving with Alana Biltucci in 2nd and Rachel Delahunta in 4th. Conklin, Morris and Catherine Tuttle swept the 100 yard butterfly. Dempsey, Theresa Catteau and Katie Hart also swept the 100 yard freestyle. Dobler won the 500 yard freestyle with Geary and Salvia in 2nd and 3rd. With the score 101-24, the JV S’Women swam the remaining events as exhibition.
The S’Women take on Greece Athena/Odyssey on Thursday, September 15th before traveling to Owego on Saturday for the Owego Invitational.
