The Pittsford S’Women hosted the Brighton Swimmers and Divers on October 6th for a contest that last took place in September 2003. The S’Women extended their dual meet unbeaten streak to 45 with a 97-81 over the Lady Barons.
Pittsford opened the meet with a victory in the 200 yard medley relay. Jenny Lewis, Jessie Ward, Hailey Weniger and Kelly Groves finished ahead of teammates Lindsay Wahl, Stephanie Ross, Aly Criscuolo and Meghan Green in 2nd and Barons Diana Eastman, A Menguy, Leslie Howitt and Jennifer Silverstein in 3rd. Brighton’s Emily Swett, a double winner for Brighton, won the 200 yard freestyle ahead of Pittsford’s Criscuolo and Ward in 2nd and 3rd. Pittsford’s Weniger, Groves and Emma Miller swept the 200 yard individual medley. S’Women Wahl and Green sprinted to 1st and 2nd in the 50 yard freestyle with Baron Bailey Weigel in 3rd.
Maggie Thomas won the diving for Brighton. Eliza Massie finished 2nd for Pittsford and Eva Noble 3rd for the Lady Barons. Green, Claire Geiser and Amanda Lang swept the top three places in the 100 yard butterfly for the S’Women. Pittsford’ Lewis and Emm Wells touched in 1st and 2nd in the 100 yard freestyle with Howitt of Brighton in 3rd. Swett won the 500 yard freestyle for Brighton with Rachael House and Olivia Tylukti in 2nd and 3rd.
Lewis, Jenna Arington, Groves, and Weniger of the S’Women won the 200 yard freestyle relay. Teammates Alex Trobe, Criscuolo, Tylutki and Wells finished 2nd and Brighton’s J Wolff, Silverstein, Maddie Schwid and Lauren Karl in 3rd. Brighton’s Eastman won the backstroke with teammates Julie Karl and Ihou Prunoske in 2nd and 3rd. Chelsea  Derair, Howitt and Alice Dubois finished 1-2-3 in the 100 yard breaststroke. Brighton took the top three spots in the 400 yard freestyle relay with the team of Swett, Sliverstein, Jagel and Beers finishing 1st. C Jones, J Karl, Eastman and J Wolff  were 2nd and Weigel, Schwid, L Karl and Caitlen McNamara were 3rd.
The JV S’Women extended their unbeaten streak with a 96-77 win over the Lady Barons. The 200 yard medley relay team of Katie Dobler, Mandy Ellis, Jennifer Conklin and Karin Lee touched in first with teammates Kelly Geary, Katherine Ross, Kelsey McManus and Maggie Craig in 2nd. Brighton’s Catherine Law, Alena Stasenko, Robyn Medved and Marion Smith finished 3rd. S’Women Lindsay Matthews, Sara Dempsey and Emily DiPaulo swept the 200 yard freestyle. McManus, K Ross and Brittany O’Connor did the same for Pittsford in the 50 yard freestyle. Pittsford’s Conklin and Lee touched in 1st and 2nd in the 50 yard freestyle. Smith was third for the Lady Barons.
Pittsford’s Morgan Neal won the diving, breaking a JV record with 125.2 points. Rachel Delahunta and Alana Biltucci took 2nd and 3rd for the S’Women. Conklin, a double winner for the S’Women and teammate Lee finished 1-2 again in the 100 yard butterfly. Brighton’s Aoi Wakahayashi finished 3rd. Pittsford’s Grace Encherman won the 100 yard freestyle. Brighton’s Smith was 2nd and Pittsford’s M Craig 3rd. Dobler, Geary and Maddy Ashworth swept the 500 yard freestyle for the S’Women.
Brighton won the 200 yard freestyle relay with the team of Eleni Palis, Ashley Fuino, Medved and Kathryn Longenback. Teammates L Waltzer, Kate Levens, R Greiff and Stasenko finished 2nd and L Douglass, C Hellensmidt, E Shan and M Benoy 3rd. Brighton’s Aixin Wang, Alison Craig,and Sara Raju finished 1-2-3 in the 100 yard backstroke. Stasenko, Fuino and Levens did the same for the Barons in the 100 yard breaststroke. Longenback,  Raju, A Ghyzel and Hellensmidt won the 400 yard freestyle relay for Brighton. Smith, Grace Prunosko, T Yensel and Waltzer were  2nd and Wakahayashi,  Emily Silberstein, PEichness and Wagner were 3rd.
